How to play
Browser controls for Play Now in Concordia / Section 0 — the current Story experience in the Laser District. Only bindings verified in the live client. Play needs an account via Enter.
PC controls
- Move — W A S D or arrow keys.
- Walk (path) — double-click empty floor. A path line appears; your character walks there. Single-click empty floor clears a path — it does not start a walk.
- Interact — click a person, door, terminal, or prop (walks over if needed). Or press E / Enter for the nearest interactable.
- Jump — Space.
- Hold-walk — hold left + right mouse buttons and drag toward a point (desktop).
- Pan camera — right-drag on the world.
- Zoom — HUD + / −, keyboard = / − (or numpad), or mouse wheel.
- Places — M or the Places HUD button (Connections, Floor Plan, Directory).
- Inventory — P or the Inventory HUD button.
- Account — Account HUD button (login, Appearance, profile).
Touch / coarse pointer
The client uses pointer events. On touchscreens and coarse pointers these work:
- Tap an interactable to use it (or walk toward it).
- Double-tap empty floor to pathfind-walk.
- Long-press for an alternate inspect when something is under your finger.
- Pinch with two fingers to zoom.
- On narrow / coarse-pointer layouts, panels may open as bottom sheets instead of floating windows.
This is a browser game. We do not claim a dedicated iOS or Android app — use a current mobile browser if you play on a phone or tablet.
Places
Open with M or the Places HUD control. Tabs:
- Connections — room graph / where you can go from here.
- Floor Plan — plate atlas (Lobby / Fabrication vs Residences).
- Directory — site directory for the current area.
Help on the Places window opens this section in a new tab and leaves you where you are in the world.
Inventory
Open with P or the Inventory HUD control. Inside:
- Wallet strip at the top.
- Tools and Pack category tabs (bags live under Pack).
- Select an item for its detail view.
In-game mail is a HUD panel (not a separate website inbox). When you have unread mail, a small ✉ badge appears near your mood / mini-avatar meters — tap or click it to open the Mail terminal. You can also open Mail from in-world mail terminals when you find them.
Signed-in players see mail for their handle. Guests are prompted to use Account first.
Account & Appearance
The Account HUD button opens your Account panel: sign in / sign out, player sheet, and Appearance (skin, hair, clothes, shoes). Appearance also lives under Create Character on the website when you make a look before Enter.
Same player account as arcologyproject.com/account/ — one login for website and play.
Need help with a glitch? Use in-game Report a problem (Settings or Account) while signed in.
Accessibility
If your system has prefers-reduced-motion enabled, the client reduces water motion, extra FX, and some walk-in flourishes. Graphics quality presets (High / Medium / Low) live under in-game Settings.
Report a problem
Signed-in players can open Report a problem from in-game Settings or Account. You write a short note, inspect a technical capsule (build version, world route, room, floor, mode, browser, recent non-sensitive error codes), optionally Copy technical details, then submit. The game also freezes a short recent-event log (room changes, failed requests, mode changes) so staff can diagnose later — not passwords, tokens, email, or private mail/chat.
Website account help: arcologyproject.com/account/ (Player Support tickets). Abuse / legal reports: Report a Problem and Appeal.
