Concordia / Section 0

A city people built. A world people belong to.

Heritage / civic concept art · one megastructure · illustrative · not a map

Arcology Project brings exploration, human stories, and machine intrigue into a browser-based world. Its setting is Arcology One, a single enormous structure whose original core, Concordia, has been inhabited since 2090.

About the game

Public-safe setting copy — atmosphere, not a campaign spoiler guide. Deeper records unlock in play.

The promise of Concordia

The founders proposed a different way to live: bring homes, schools, farms, factories, and public services together, then let the surrounding landscape recover. Four hundred years later, the promise still matters. Most residents love their city. Its conflicts come from the many people and intelligences who believe they know how to care for it.

Humans call the first arcology Concordia; systems use Section 0. Early-access play focuses on the Laser District inside that core — not a claim that all ten sections are open today.

More than one way to belong

The long-term vision combines a multiplayer role-playing story with player housing, making and trading useful things, social spaces, and discoveries that reward curiosity. Sandbox worlds offer a separate space for building experiments. Each release brings a clearly described part of that vision into play — see First Steps for what is available now.

Built to keep growing

We’re building toward an ambitious goal: the largest browser-based game ever made. That is an aim, not a measured record or a guarantee. The intent is a world worth returning to for years, where new places gain meaning through the people who use them.

Made with a personal point of view

Created by Rich Silver, Arcology Project joins an interest in art, fabrication, robotics, and living communities with a love of places that have accumulated stories.
