Nico Odelo arrives in Arcology One expecting a new beginning. The inheritance that brought him here is tangled in old records, and the door he hoped to open remains closed. With little money left, he takes work in the Laser District and begins learning how this immense place really functions.
A familiar surname does not make him wealthy. A deed does not always grant access. And in a building with four hundred years of additions, the past is rarely as simple as the current map suggests.
